first of all both Canadian and Mexican companies will bite the tariffs; otherwise, how long can they hold on to those eggs, tomatoes & avocados .. but economics is not a single-variable math .. look at the USD vs CAN$ (10% down since LY) and Mexican pesos (20% down since LY)  ... & even if they raise prices, which they won't - you will still pay the say the same due to exchange rates shift ..!

crude has goes down from $85 to $67 today ..  give the man some credit that he is delivering what he promised .. unlike the other administration who paid $350B to Ukraine without any return in sight .. spent over 3 years - cost of War to US $0.35B daily .. WTF ?

it's the people of Canada w& Mexico who will be hurting as they had a free ride in last 30-40 years due to the agreements signed by previous administrations  - & here we are under $36T of debt ..!
