i find it so funny, for all those highly paid economists, who at one point made the case of NOT manuf. chips in US; sophisticated decision analysis tools were used to prove that we should not do manufacturing because making them in China is cheaper ... i wonder why we needed computers to tell us that.
how the hell that we get here that we outsourced everything ... & to the point that we always end up with situations like these that "we must act now ..!"
those economists/decision makers/technology used in decision making never saw it coming that it has become a "national security" issue that they need Govt aid to do manuf in US ...!
really ... damn .. or should we fire all economists & get rid of so called rational human behavior theory and start learning the behavioral aspects ..?
